Danish patent application fees rise

Starting from July 1, 2023, the Danish Patent and Trademark Office has revised the country’s intellectual property fee schedule, which involves patent publication and annual fees.

• Since the date of implementation, the patent publication fee has increased by approximately 4%, from DKK 2,000 to DKK 2,075.
• The patent annual fee increases by a similar percentage each year, with an increase of 3% from DKK 500 to DKK 515 in years 1-3 and an increase of DKK 2,300 to DKK 2,385 in year 10. About 4%. Years 15 and 20 also increased by approximately 4%, from DKK 3,600 to DKK 3,740 and from DKK 5,100 to DKK 5,295 respectively.
