Sweden, officially the Kingdom of Sweden, is located on the Scandinavian Peninsula in Northern Europe. Sweden shares borders with Norway and Finland, has maritime borders with Latvia and Lithuania, and is connected to Denmark by bridges and tunnels. Today, Sweden is a constitutional monarchy with a parliamentary democracy and a highly developed economy. Sweden has the eighth highest per capita income in the world. The capital and largest city of Sweden is Stockholm.
